Field day requirements
Maryland requires a Field Day Workshop.
After passing the online course, students must attend the Field Day to complete their hunter education certification.
The Field Day voucher is valid for 365 days.

After completing the course
After completing the online course, students can print their Skills Day voucher.
Students must bring the voucher to their Field Day Workshop to complete certification.
Military exemptions and benefits
Maryland may offer exemptions for certain active law enforcement, retired law enforcement, active-duty military, honorably discharged military members, and Maryland handgun permit holders.
A Maryland Handgun Qualification License is not a qualifying permit for the exemption.
