Field day requirements
Nevada requires a Field Day for youth students under 18 years old.
Students who are under 18 years old when they register for the course must pass the online course and attend the Final Hunter Education Class to complete their hunter safety certification.
After completing the course
Students who are 18 years old or older can print their permanent Hunter Education Certificate after successfully completing the course and paying the fee.
Students who are under 18 years old will receive their Hunter Education Certificate after completing the Final Hunter Education Class.
Military exemptions and benefits
Active-duty military members who are permanently stationed in Nevada may purchase a resident hunting license.
Active-duty military members who are Nevada residents but stationed elsewhere may purchase the Serviceman’s Hunting License.
Resident veterans who have 50% or more service-connected disability may be eligible for the free Disabled Veteran Hunting & Fishing License.
